Ting tugnaw na sad. ting ubo ug sip on..

November 22nd, 2009

The kingdom, the sand, the desert oil and life

June 19th, 2009

The Kingdom, full of history and culture, with wealth extracted from its oil bounty. They said that it was blessed by the Almighty for its people thru this oil.

As our days and months had become longer with this place, we became a part of it., we became part of the sand and oil. The frequent sand storm, the air we breathe with the warm wind came from the desert; our blood has now the spirit of the desert. Sand, covering the sight in every direction on what you see, dust full of desert sand, covering blindly all your personal things, including your meals.

Here yo can see that from a far away I can still manage to take picture of the building.

Plastic from oil, most of the plastic products we use here are came from a raw material which are waste from oil refinery. We eat using plastic containers, we buy with plastic bags, almost every thing you can see in the garbage bin are made from plastic, our body as now partly plastic. Some people here like pinoy had also now a plastic mentality.

We always use plastic for food keeping and even during eating. And think of this, our company is a plastic manufacturing firm.

Pollution from industries are also part of the air we breathe, industries are rapidly growing in the city. Hope people in here knows that we are slowly killing our body, and our spirit.

Villa accommodation – Cost cutting?

January 30th, 2009

Accommodation are separated into 2 location, 1 for the staff personnel and the other are for laborers. I live in the laborers villa (as they said) but i am the only one who accomodate 1 room, the rest are by 2 or three persons. When i arrived here, Bernard told me that they will provide ref and Aircon, but until now none of there are realized, even a steel cabinets they wont provide.

Now, due to the instruction of the owner, all staff villa occupants are advisd to get there things ready and transfer to the laboreres villa. That cool, or what. All of us now are here in this 5 floor bldg. Im at the top, and see the pics below on how they manage to get there things put in this villa bldg.

Transportation

January 20th, 2009
Our Scholl bus like transport.

Our School bus like transport.

"Sa maka una lang" this is Reggy my ofice mate.

"Sa maka una lang" this is Reggy my office mate.

Our transport from Villa and Office is via a school bus type truck service hehehe. You have to catch up before 8:45AM before the driver will leave for office. From the office would be the same bus service and its 5:30PM

A google eath carture of our location

A Google earth screen shot of our location

Our mean of transport of going to the city is by taxi, they call it here limousine. You can ride for the city proper for 20 to 35 riyals one way. If you have some company, that would be 5 riyals per person. Going back from the city proper to the villa is the same trough a taxi with 5 riyals per person or if you ca afford to ride it as a single passenger, you may pay 20 to35 riyals per travel but considering the risk, its not practical.
